3 open positions in the Lansing Schools for 35 hours per week. If the applicant has at least 5 years  
experience working with adolescents an MSW is not required, though this is preferred.  These are
not jobs requiring school social work approval as they are not tied to special education services.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from a graduate school of social work program approved by the State Board of Education required.

• Knowledgeable about the function of a Social Worker in a School Based environment required.

• Exceptional ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing required.

• Experience working as a School Social Worker preferred.

• Skilled in identifying and developing resources within and outside a school system preferred.

• Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others required.

• Required Certificates: Licensure Social Work
